    Am I the only one...

I dont generally get mad. If someone doesnt know what it is, I can see how they would assume some type of rabbit. I just chose to educate the person. I dont see the need to get all in a fluff about it. Just tell them what they are and teach them a new animal, and share with them how special...

    Reasons for drool

The drool isnt an every day thing. It is off an one. One day she will, she will be good for a few weeks, and then she will do it again. But I will discuss it with the vet. Thanks

    Reasons for drool

Oh I have some ulcer medicine here! Good idea! No she isnt on pain meds, I dont see anything other then her drool to indicate she needs it, and I figure if it is an upset tummy, then I dont want to add pain meds to her belly.

    Reasons for drool

Not that I have noticed. She is a calm and slow mover. I am not sure what ever happened to her. Do you think a heat issue could have caused brain damage to cause that? They did not have adequate care before I got them, and they claimed to have rescued her from someone else. She is missing...

    Reasons for drool

If teeth have been ruled out, what can other reasons for intermittant drool be? I have a chin who I rescued, Sissy, who has always been "off" but she drools sometimes. She wont really have any other signs of anything. Her poops are fine, belly isnt hard. She is eating and drinking fine...

    Fuzzy had x rays

Thanks I was worried about the Fuzzman! Now to get him chomping on more hay. Sorry about the fuzzy x rays, I notice a lot said they were over exposed. That was because I sat them on my window and took a picture of them lol

    Fuzzy had x rays

Here is an update :) My vet called, he said he spoke to a chinchilla dental specialist in Germany, of all places, and that there is no root elongation, but the back molars were a bit "rough" and that he would recommend he get more chewing on hay. He is a hay hog, so I will have to get all kinds...
