    Do most of you adopt?

Obviously it isn't great to buy from pet shops, and they're way overpriced anyways, and there doesn't seem to be many breeders...or at least in Florida there doesn't seem to be. So I guess adoption is how most get chins? Petfinder only has 2 chins in FL and they're way off...I do occasionally...

    Can't Blue Cloud cause cancer?

Yeah, I imagine I'll need to wear a mask, even though Blue Cloud apparently isn't silica based I imagine it's still dusty and I'm pretty allergic to dust. yeah, I realized that about aragonite. I was thinking that some aren't rough...I'm not sure, I've never felt any before.

Are Chins picky about eating hay?

Well assuming I'll be adopting any future chins, I know owners often don't feed them correctly so I would need to gradually change their diet. It would be a relief knowing I shouldn't have much trouble doing that. I hope, whenever I do get chins, that they aren't picky!

    Can't Blue Cloud cause cancer?

Ah yeah maybe I got mixed up then. I just read that it says on the bag that it is not silica based http://www.chins-n-hedgies.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-13257.html

    Can't Blue Cloud cause cancer?

Because it is silica based it is a human carcinogen (sp?) and also can hurt chins. Aragonite sand is safe because it's calcium based. I think its more expensive depending on where you are located but I would want to use this, assuming it is safe for chins?

    Bonding Chins with Other Chins?

Are girls easier to bond than boys? Does bonding often not work out? Is it difficult to do?

Are Chins picky about eating hay?

I know rabbits are often very difficult to convert to a mostly hay diet if they aren't used to that, it took me months to make my rabbits good hay eaters. are chins the same way or are they generally very accepting of eating hay/eating a new brand of pellets?
