Thanks all for the help! I am def taking into consideration some of the names! I aways thought Chilli would be a cute namefor a chin and then pepper came along with it and it just sounded cute lol.

So I always wanted to get two chins and name them Chilli and Pepper. I have Pepper already but I am going to be getting two other chins...one of which will be Chilli. So I need help with the third name...trying to get something going along those lines. Please help me out naming my chinchillas! :)

I'm having the same issues as the first post. I've had Pepper a little over a week. I know that's still a short amount of time. But I want to ask how come some days shell let me take her out and shell just sit on me as I pet her and then other days shell be a wiggle worm and seem to not want to...

I just got a chin a little over a week ago and I feel like she's barely drinking much at all. How much do chins normally drink and could this just be happening since she's still getting used to her new home?

reply I am having the same problem with my first chinchilla. I got her just a week and a half ago and have been working with her everyday. Some days shell be good and won't run away other days I have to work hard to catch her lol but when I do end up catching her she loves beng held and pet. :)
