It's a hand-me-down Sony Cybershot. I'd prefer something much better (and more expensive) but this does a decent enough job for now.

Don't forget to look at the pictures on the last post of the previous page. After I was about to be done he decided he wanted the camera!

I'm not sure how many people are actually looking at the pictures but I'll keep adding them here anyways. We got our package in with new toys and stuff for him to chew on. He's so happy!

So I was describing this weird flip thing he does after play time. I managed to get it on film. Most of the time it's a full slip all the way onto his back and over. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGFyYHJz65E I swear he knew I was trying to film that so he took forever to do it this time.

I just learned that Charlie's not a standard. Sweet.

I'm told I need to introduce myself

My husband and I had to use the burrito technique to get those things on them.

Oh no you don't. They're evil. So cute but so skiddish.

They've been in there for a while it seems and I'll be getting fleece soon. He really loves to lay on the bed so I wouldn't wan to take away his only secure spot in the cage.

Haha. We had to get soft paws because Spot has a terrible habit if scratching the carpet up when she wants to get into the bedroom at night. At first Bitey's name was just a joke to make her seem tough but a while after my husband got her for me we learned that these hamsters don't really care...

Thanks! My husband and I love all our pets very much. I love sharing them with people. =)

I'm told I need to introduce myself

I'm Kristin. I'm 25 and I live with my husband in Vegas. We just adopted Charlie from a Craigslist person who only did half her research. We're starting the process of making him the most spoiled chin ever. You can see more about him here...

Oh man, last night my husband and I finally got to meet the real Charlie. Now that he is settled in he is freaking insane! He's hyper and mischievous. And he jumps around non stop at night. He rocks!

My husband made some shelves and we finally got to replace the metal ones. Still need to get some fleece stuff for him but I think he's happier already. Toys are on the way and we'll replace that plastic bowl soon too.

Thanks, everyone. My husband and I were planning on replacing the shelves anyways. I was going to order them but now that I've read up on it and seen the pictures it really does look simple to DIY. I don't have a sewing machine and fleece seems to be expensive here anyway, so now I need to find...

Does anyone have a recommendation for another place to order bundles of random goodies like she has on her site? I need some for my new chinchilla but I'd rather not wait forever.

She was trying to make sure I knew how to take care of him (I had already learned a ton a few years ago) and told me she tried to give him the mix but he wouldn't eat the pellets from it. I have no idea how long that went on. The food she gave me is called "nutriphase."

Hey everyone. I used to be part of the forums back before they switched to these new ones. Today my husband and I adopted Charlie from a woman who had to give him up due to a small apartment. She had told me he would come with a bunch of supplies and food and stuff but I'm pretty disappointed...
