I became addicted to season 1. Season 2 is scheduled to start in May! What do you want to see or expect to see?

I personally want to see more from the books. Where the heck is Bubba?! :(

I love the show, I haven't read the books. I just want to see more of the same interesting, sexy, and surprising episodes. And alot more of Stephen Moyer!

We just watched a bit of Season 1 on dvd last night, and I'm not usually into vampires (still haven't seen Twilight), but I actually thought the show was okay.

What are the names of the books? Same as the tv show?

No, they're "Dead as _____" I forget what the first one is. They're by Charlaine Harris

I know the first three are in a collection called "Dead in Dixie" but the books themselves are like "Dead Until Dark" "Dead as a Doornail". I think Dead Until Dark is the first.

I don't have cable, but I've been reading episodes on Television Without Pity and it sounds like a great show!

I really like the show. But honestly it's a bit too mature for my tastes. I think they could get the same things across without showing everything if you know what I mean.

I don't have HBO so I don't get to watch the new season, I'll just wait til it comes out on DVD. Which I don't mind anyways cuz then it's like one really long movie.

So far this second season has toned down in the sex, from what I've noticed. I'll watch snippets of the shows here and there, but my mom has the DVR set to record the whole season, so I'll probably watch them all at once lol

Sorry guys I watched one episode and hated it! Those are the FAKEST fangs on a vampire I've ever seen! I guess I just really miss my Mick St. John and Moonlight! Maybe they'll make a Brotherhood series someday and then I'll be happy!

I miss Moonlight as well, though it reminded me a lot of 'Forever Knight', so any fans of Moonlight should check that out. [It's older, but still good!]
As for True Blood, they've been mixing the books together quite a lot, and have been messing with the maenad character a bit too much for my liking. And as for the maturity levels of some of the sex scenes, I'm a bit desensitized to it all, though still believe the way HBO shows so much is very unnecessary. They could just show that it's starting, then do a scene change to show what's going on after it all.

Anyone watch True Blood?

I have read the books and now I'm watching the series on HBO. I love it so far!

Since my computer is dead for work, and I can't type on this freaking midget laptop, I have been watching True Blood from the first episode to now. I think I have 4 moer to be caught up to date. I really like it! I have not read the books yet though, so I can't compare it.

I just started watching last night and I love the show. Its a bit more graphic then it needs to be with the sex scenes but then again its the HBO demographic, its to be expected. But I really love Rutina Wesley, she has gorgeous skin. And Sam is such a wonderfull character. I'm still on the first season so don't ruin it for me.

I'm picking up the books on friday... ;)
