She's still not eating much pellets. Only hay. Haven't made the food switch yet, though.. I plan on it sometime this weekend. I'm still seeing poop in her cage which I'm hoping is a good sign.

How long would a ten pound bag of Mazuri chinchilla food last with one chin?

I mean, I'm playing MUSICALLY so it's not just a bunch of random notes. At the moment, she just sits in her house and seems not to notice when I play. xD

My chinchilla cage is currently located near my piano - I've heard that they enjoy listening to it, however, I've also heard that loud noises disturb them. Would playing the piano near my new chinchilla allow it to warm up to me faster or just be annoyed by the loud noise? Thanks.
