    Help!

My chin Beatrice seems to be sneezing and has something wrong with her eye. She's also acting a little weird like she's following something in the back of the cage and not really paying attention to me. But otherwise seems normal. I can't get into the vet until Monday, is there anything I can...

Severe distressed chin due to a dog

The dog isn't mine and she's back at my parents now. The power went out at my parents so I had to take her to my place. And oddly enough, I did have a fence dividing the two rooms, the fence is actually their playpen, I thought I would work. But somehow my chin got to where the dog was. I've...

Severe distressed chin due to a dog

I'm not positive about the injuries, I have mesh all around the cage but it does look like the dog may have scratched him in the face a little. The dog is a yorkie

Severe distressed chin due to a dog

The vet said that his leg might be a soft tissue injury, he didn't feel any breaks. I just want to make sure that I have all the info needed so he can make a full recovery. He is moving about the cage and cuddling with his brother. The vet said that he did drink water there, and I have a friend...

    Heat! Really worried

There are also chill blocks that chins can lay on to keep cool. Ice in a bowl helps too. I've used the ice method b4 and it worked well. Just be careful the chin doesn't get wet

Severe distressed chin due to a dog

Early this morning my young chinchilla was put into severe distress by my parent's dog. He went to the vet and is now home. However, he has no use of his right rear leg and seems to be unable to stand at all: not sure if it's because of his leg or whiskers. I'm afraid that he won't eat, what...

Chin won't eat all of his food?

My chin will only eat certain pieces of his food leaving the bulk of it behind. I'm worried that he isn't getting the right nutrients what should I do?

Chin not eating all of his food

My chin Vergil only eats certain pieces of his food leading behind the majority of it in his bowl. Should I be concerned, or is he just picky? I worry that he may become unhealthy. He seems just as active and hyper as ever, but still concerned.

    Anxious dad

I think I'm too concerned now to do the process. There's a place in Columbus that can do it (got the address from another chin website) but it would cost like $500. I don't think I want to chance it. I don't know what is do if I lost him.

    Anxious dad

I unexpectedly find a baby chin in my cage when I came home and had to move dad to prevent birth back. (I thought both were males and they've bonded for the last six months). Since then he's been going crazy and restless; I'm also concerned that he's not eating or drinking. What can I do to...

    Unexpected baby, plz help.

I came home this weekend to find a baby chin in my cage. I saw the one mounting the other and separated the two. The baby is about 12hrs old and seems to be ok. The father is in eye sight of the cage but is flipping out and was wondering if I should keep the parents a part? The mom seems to...
