So, if the chinchillas are already being fed a high quality pellet, timothy hay and reverse osmosis water what else would you do to boost the immune system? Wouldn't a high quality pellet already have all of the vitamins they should need?

I have a chinchilla that would get just that little crust in the corner of one eye. It didn't ever get any worse and as an adult he outgrew it. I tried triple antibiotic eye ointment and that would clear it up for a couple of days and then the crust would come back. Now he doesn't get it anymore.

Welcome! My guess is a medium tan and if the lighter one is a cream color with a white belly , a beige white mosaic. If the lighter one is a light taupe beige with a white belly, a beige; if the top and the belly are a taupe beige, a light tan.

From my experience most chins reach their full size around 8 months to a year, but some color mutations like ebonies, tans and sapphires can take up to 18 months to 2 years to get their full size. Size also depends on their breeding line. Chins can weigh anywhere from about 400 to 1200 grams...
