Thanks Larry. I will try the washers and see if I can make that work, but I have found some options if the stand is necessary plus it helps keep the tray from walking across the cage.

Just got my Storm Wheel today and I was wondering if they are sturdy enough to be mounted on the cage wall or if that gives too much wiggle to keep it silent? Floor space is precious in the current set up (hoping to upgrade again by spring/summer) and I feel that mounting would save a small amount.
