I just noticed last night that Flicka has some scaley looking spots on the outside of her left ear. It doesn't seem to itch and I haven't seen her scratch at it. Is this something I need to take her to a vet for, or do you think it is fungal and miconazole cream will take care of it? I just...

OK, thank you for your help. There is a health food store in town, so I will check there first. I ordered from KM's Hayloft years ago for my guinea pigs. I'm sure they've expanded since then, so I'll see what they have to offer.

She does seem pretty happy. I saw her do a giant popcorn earlier.

Does anyone know of a good vet on Maryland's Eastern Shore? I would be willing to drive to Elkton, MD, Easton, MD, or over to Dover or Wilmington, Delaware, if need be. I would also consider Annapolis, but I'm trying to avoid the Eastern Shore tax (aka the Bay Bridge toll).
