I'm looking for custom length log bridges (unsure if that's the term commonly used). I've looked online, and options seem slim.
Does anyone here make them or know where I might order them?
I'm convinced that Lily is a highly concentrated ball of evil fluff sent to punish me for sins committed in a past life. This chin will beg for attention, start to really get into a good scritch, and then, out of nowhere, bite and/or spray me. She is also the most mischievous chin of our...
Lady, our youngest chin, is about the same age and also flops over when she's exhausted herself. I wouldn't worry about it unless the chin becomes lethargic and spends most or all of its time laying down.
No matter what kind of hay I feed her or what vessel it is served in, Lily will always pull/dump all of her hay onto the floor of her cage within minutes of it being given to her.
Pythagoras went through a phase similar to what you are describing. I never observed any stimuli that coincided with his squealing other than me sleeping (absence of stimuli, I suppose), so I came to the conclusion that he was whining/trying to get attention. At first I would give him a...
Lily's condition is greatly improved. She perked up quite nicely after her vet visit, and has been on antibiotics since then (doc wanted a longer course to be cautious). The only trouble so far has been that the meds stunt her appetite. I've been giving her lifeline spaced out between...
Update: Went to the vet and got some clarification. The prolapsed tissue had been dead for some time, and the vet was able to gently pull it out with no trouble. He hasn't yet been able to identify the tissue, though. The first (and most likely) possibility is what was originally...
I just received an update from my girlfriend at the vet: it IS a prolapse--of her reproductive organs, apparently. I don't have anything more specific than that, but this is not looking good. :(
I'm heading to the vet to join her now.
My girlfriend just had our chin Lily out for some attention and suddenly had a smear of blood on her arm. We took at look at Lily and she had significant amount of blood coming from either her rectum or her vaginal opening. We immediately put the chin in a carry cage and my girlfriend left for...
We just noticed that our beige girl's ears were very bright pink/red, with much more color than usual (looking like they were seeing a bit more circulation). I put my finger through the cage bars and they felt slightly warm to the touch. When I went to pick her up, she darted around the cage...
