I tried posting these in my other thread recently but couldn't attach them properly. Finally figured out how to get them to show up (fingers crossed). Thought they were too cute not to share!

My boyfriend and myself with Bean, the wee king of snuggles...
It may not be that he's forgotten you, so much as he's confused why you keep coming and going. Since chins take so long to adjust to new people (months), it may take him several days or even weeks to readjust to you being around. Idk! You may just need to give him a little more space and let him...
I can't get the attachments to work, so I posted the pics on imgur instead. Here is Bean, the ebony king of snuggles, and Lil Bubs, the standard who wishes there was a magical land of other chins behind the bathroom mirror. The blurry one of Bean in his tunnel gives you a sense of how teeny he...
The only small cage we have is a plastic cat carrier, so I'm hesitant to leave them in it overnight. I can look into getting a cheap wire one, but in the meantime it's good to hear that trimming one chin's whiskers can help. How short do you trim them? Do you burrito them in a towel to do it...
Hi all, I've posted before but haven't updated since we started actually introducing the boys. You can read about when we first got Bean here - http://chins-n-hedgies.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45488 This post will be long, sorry, but I can't shut up once I get talking about my furbabies...
Well I'm glad to hear you had a skittish one too and he ended up okay. I think Bean will be a total sweetie eventually, as soon as he learns we're not fattening him up to roast him for Christmas dinner. :P
Does anyone else have thoughts about Bean being so teeny? Is there a way to tell for sure...
Yes! Bean is ebony, Bubs is standard. The attachments are kind of bugging out for me sadly :(
I knew the quarantine wouldn't be perfect, but Bean was also in an isolation cage at the humane society for ~6 weeks, so I'm hopeful he's very likely to be disease-free at this point. I'll still keep...
Hey all! I have to make this fast because I'm posting from work. Sorry it's kind of long but I didn't have time to edit it or make it make more sense haha!
This weekend I adopted a rescue chin from the San Diego Humane Society, the last male from that big ranch bust several weeks back. We named...
He is a cutie! Yep, Bubs did that a lot when we first got him and I found it confusing too. But we would just shake him off and continue with whatever we were doing and he eventually got the message. Now that I think of it, he hasn't done it at all since the first month we got him.
We have a...
Update! I've been inquiring about visiting the chinchillas and it's been hard to get in touch with anyone at SDHS. I finally got through today and they told me they aren't letting anyone see the chinchillas for at least another week, so they can have time to destress. I think that's a good...
