I'm 41 and the last time I rode a bike ( I think it was the last time) I had a really bad wreck. I was young and dumb. As far as swimming I have no clue how to swim and have no interest in learning. Riding bikes is pretty easy just be smart. Good luck.

The pull out pan has a wire floor over the pan. The drop in pan does not have a wire floor.

Have you considered a Critter Nation cage? You could get the single (161) to start and if you decide later that you want ti to be bigger you can buy the add-on.

I see in most pics that the bass pans are used (for lack of a better word) uncured? Is there any harm in having them powder coated? I realize it would be an extra cost and maybe isn't necessary but is there any harm in it and won't it make the pan last longer possibly? Sorry to the op for the...

Do you like the feisty ferret cage at all? I know a woman that bought the necessary pieces to make her feisty ferret cage into a 3 story cage. Maybe that would save you some money.

The 183 is the add-on. If you want a 3 story cage you will have to buy a 182 and a 183.
