Our new little girl LOVES mealworms. How many a day?

Thank you for the great info! We kept her on Spike's since the breeder had her on that. It is mixed with the baby food the breeder game me as well. So I will have to add another food choice to mix in, great idea!!!! Thanks!! I don't think she had ever seen fleece before so she is very...

Our new little girl LOVES mealworms. How many a day?

We just got our baby on Saturday and she is settling in slowly. No quills but lots of hissy huffing and puffing when we disturb her. But she chowed the first night and she had never had meal worms so we gave her some and she chowed them down so fast and kept smelling the same area over and...

Going to get our little girl on Sat. Just bought the FERRET NATION!!

At first I was in sticker shock but after seeing the other cages it seems like all you can buy is crappy rickety flimsy cheaply made cages (at least in my area) or this fabulous top of the line one, so we went with this one. When I saw the quality I was beyond impressed. Super heavy duty and...

Yes, I will definately wash first. I keep seeing folks saying that so there must have been alot of fleece liners that shrunk and would be not good after taking all the time to sew them. Thanks for reminding me!! I will get the fleece today and wash it!!

Going to get our little girl on Sat. Just bought the FERRET NATION!!

Wow, I won't need zip ties for sure but I am having some trouble putting the side pieces in. I think the metal squares at the bottom that the side panels fit inside are put on a bit crooked. Have to wait for hubby to get home to deal with it. I think it might need a bit of prying and pounding...

Hi all, I am putting together our Ferret Nation cage and about to head to the fabric store to buy massive amounts of fleece..haha. Just wondering when folks sew a layer of fleece do they just do only 2 layers or do they put something inside the 2 layers to absorb liquid? I have seen pictures...

OMG the cage is not cheap but it looks awesome!! We are going to get our little girl on Saturday so I am getting everything ready. Any Ferret Nation owners have any extra tips about the cage for me? It looks so fabulous. Love that the cages stack so it saves on floor space and the double...

New soon to be owner question.

Hi everyone!! I am a soon to be owner of a hedgehog. I have been doing my research for a while now and have to ask this. Why don't people leave the bottom plastic part of the cage bare for their hedgehogs? After reviewing all of the bedding choices I am worried about chemicals, bedding...
