I have owned a polydactyl cat for about 4 years and I agree they are smarter! Yes, make sure you lock up things, cuz mine can and will get into things the other cats won't;)

I personally like Harrisons or Totally Organics for pellets with parrots. I know they are pricey though so that probably doesn't help.

beautiful bird. I love the big, fluffy heads that macaws have as babies. So sweet. I think he/she already is quite spoiled and knows it! :)
