    Epoxy coated cage?

    Hi, I am a soon to be chin owner and found a ferret/chinchilla cage I want to buy, but it said it is steel with a "non toxic" epoxy coated finish...Is the epoxy safe for them? Please let me know what you think! Thanks :)
