Is it normal for her pee area around her fur to be stained a yellow color too?

So I have noticed lately that my chinchillas cage smells of urine, which usually it never ever smells! It looks like she has actually been peeing on her wooden ledges and wood hidey house. Is this normal? Could she have a UTI or something? I am very worried about her and hope this isn't anything...

I have the plastic pans that came with the FN142 cause I don't have my fleece order in yet.. so I was wondering if baby wipes would be safe to use on the plastic to clean them until I get my fleece? Don't worry she has so many wood things in her cage that the plastic she walks on doesn't even...

No I don't leave it in there all the time, I just had it in there for a couple hours because when I first put her in there i wanted everything she knew was hers in there too so she wouldn't get upset with the change of cages. But thanks for the advice! =)

Thank you! I took all your advice.. I'm gonna order some bass pans when my cage arrives and I went out today and got a pyrex dish for her to use as a litter box, I don't have the liners yet but I figure I'll try and get her used to it. =) I going to also order a chin spin once my cage arrives...
