I miss when Neopets.com wasnt a money-based hog site and it was in its old style. I played one that site for roughly 7 years and I met my now boyfriend there when we were 14.

How about Merlin? It was electronic and played games like tic tac toe.
I used to love my Merlin. I'd still play it if I could find it :)

Reminded me of that "calculator" I had then too. It had a bright yellow plastic back and *asked* how much X plus Y was rather than telling you. Gads, what were those things called? Mr. Something-or-other...

Popples and Fraggle Rock!

ETA: And Pete & Pete.

I don't remember the actual Popples toy, but my mother always says the hedgehogs remind her of them when they're in a half ball with their head and front legs poking out.

you mean Bopples? I had a bunch of them, you could turn them into a ball, they had a little pouch thing on their butt and you could flip them into themselves![/QUOTE]

You're both wrong--they're called POPPles. :p

YES! Thats what I meant! Thank you. (I can't believe I couldn't remember the name, lol) I use to have a couple of them when I was little, but I think they got lost in the move from VA to PA when I was 6 or 7. I use to carry them around the house with me. They were the cutest little things!

I miss the Sweet Valley High series. My cousin had them, and passed them down to me. I was re-reading them until I turned 18 or so, and my mom snuck them into a garage sale. LOL.

Me too! One of the twins names was Melissa and I woulld pretend to be her!

Popples and Glo Worms...I always wanted one SO BAD and never got one!!!

I miss 3-2-1 Contact, especially Math Net. And good call on the show Legends of he Hidden Temple--I LOVED that show and totally forgot about it!

I always wanted to be on the show lol
We didn't have cable so we would watch it at my grandparent's house. Brings back memories!

Nutterbutters. They're still around. YUM!!!

Nutterbutter are awesome. I ate a bad one about 2 years ago and haven't had once since.

I miss Sky Bars. People in the northeast still have them up there. We don't have Ellios Pizza, Sky Bars, or Maple Candy around here :(

I loved the Sweet Valley Twins books too. I still have my cabbage patch doll, got one like the 2nd year they were out. My mom was in Omaha and stood in line for 4 hours to get me one.

My favorite games that I miss are the original nintendo Mario Brothers and The Legend of Zelda, they so rocked.

I don't think Mel means nutter butters. I know what she's talking about. They actually look like a real peanut, but they are candy, and the inside is creamy. (Did I get that right Mel?)

Nutter butters, however, are fantabulous cookies!

They still have these, we have some of them on our wii.

Nutter butters ARE shaped like peanuts!

These are a hard candy with peanut butter in them, shaped like peanuts, called Honeycomb Peanuts.

This site has a bunch of "old" candies, including "sky bars".

I remember eating a candy that was like a peanut shape ( 3-D ).. but it was crispy with PB inside... Not too long ago. What the heck was that and where did it come from? Hmmm...

Wow - you so just took me back to my childhood. I am honestly getting too old!

That's them Nicole! I "think" that's what Mel is talking about, since she didn't say cookie, but candy.
