I'm just a little curious as to what the actual colors of my chins are?

So if anyone could tell me their 'official' colors, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
 
They are very handsome/pretty and they do look like a black velvet and standard grey to me also. When you got them from their previous guardian, did they come together in the same cage or are they are separate cages? They will breed if they're together and I'm not sure if you want to do the whole baby thing.
 
Unless you are a breeder, you want to keep opposite sex chinchillas separated in different cages.
 
I am sorry I should have elaborated...Those two chinchillas should probably not be bred. nothing to do with color. If they are your pets it is best to keep it that way in separate cages
