fiesty ferret cage

I bought gizmo the fiesty ferret cage .. Just wondering if anyone has this cage and how do you like it?
I will be doing certain modifications to the cage.. i've bought wooden shelves to replace the plastic ones. I'll be setting it up soon. But I do not like the idea of the wire floors, whats the best way to cover up the wire?

Maybe put some ceramic tiles down. That would work really well if Gizmo uses a litter pan too.

Newspapers - that is want I use It is cheap and easy to clean up after - just replace

Here is what I've done with the Feisty Ferret that Bella lives in:

I removed the middle wire shelf and just used wooden shelves.
I also covered the plastic pan with fleece....but I am planning to order a custom size metal pan from bassequipment.com.
