Default plump little hedge

Its my hedge Charlie again...
whenever someone sees her they comment on how over weight she is. Ive been feeding her cat food all her life (she's two) after a visit to the Vet i started feeding her 2 tablespoons of non grain cat food. recently i found a hedgehog formulated food at PetCo and have been trying to switch from the cat food.
Is her weight a serious problem?
please help

Charlie does look a bit on the plump side. I say that by observing how she has those pudgy skin folds around the base of her legs.

I would be really careful with "hedgehog formulated food" that you see. Unfortunately, many of the official "this was designed for a hedgehog" foods are, actually, not good for hedgies. Some would work nicely for hedgies in the wild, but will slowly starve our pet hedgies to death because they do not contain the right nutrients. Others contain seeds that can get stuck in the roof of their mouths and cause serious issues. Still others are just plain bad. I'd still aim for cat food - the higher quality ones that are lower in fat and calories.
