I have these beautiful peonies that are blooming in my garden right now and wondering if I could give to my chinnies if I dried the petals?
I have given them Hibiscus before and they liked that.

Peony is listed as toxic to cats, dogs, and horses, so I would say not safe for chins. If you check out the ASPCA website you can look up if things are toxic or not. Hibiscus is non toxic. They don't specifically have what is safe or not safe for chins, horses would be the closest, but if it's toxic to other animals it likely is to chins too. Also make sure any plants you do give your chins are organic and never sprayed with herbicide, pesticide, or any chemicals, I know a lot of flowers sold in stores are unless it says organically grown.

Amethyst, Thanks for taking the time to reply and look up the info. Much appreciated. My girls are 11 and 12 yrs old so best not to rock the boat. I’ll stick with oats, rose hips and goji berries and tons of sticks.
Was just hoping I could give them something new and free that I grew myself.
