Hello from New Jersey!

Hey everyone, I'm Melissa! I have been using the forum to read up on things for quiet some time, so I figured why not be apart of this group! I have learned so much from this site about my new chinny, Abby.

Anyway, I have a light gray chin, with a white tail. Not sure what she would be considered. When I got her she was about 4 and a half months old, and that was mid october. I know realize I made the mistake of getting one from Petsmart, but she dose seem to be doing well.

She does not like to be handled, but from what I gather, that is not uncommon. She plays alllll night long, which is great!

I did have a problem with her chewing the plastic on her cage, which I also know is bad, but once I bought her some more toys, it seems to have stopped, so maybe she was just bored?

Hi Melissa. Welcome to CnH. Nothing wrong with rescuing a chin from a pet store. You gave her the chance at a great life. Congrats. We'd like to see a picture of her.

Welcome! I'm sure she was bored. But if at all possible I would remove any plastic for safety.
