I was asked to take in a chin the other day. His name is Dandelion! Dont ask because i dont know. But they just usually called him Dandy. He came from a breeder in PA. He is about 9 years old. They have his papers somewhere but they are currently in the process of moving so they wernt sure exactly where they were at the time. But they are supposed to let me know when they find them.

He was living in a pretty small cage. He used to have another chin in the cage next to him. But that one had passed away a little while back. So hes been alone in that sense since then.

They were told he was a Beige-Mosiac. It actually took me a little while to notice the beige ears with the spots because he looked so white at first.

I went to meet him yesterday and brought him home with me!

The one piece of furniture that came with him. Was the closest/only thing he had; to a hut

I was told he had a leg injury when he was younger. Vet gave him 5% chance of living. The lady said i got him from said every day she would move his leg around (her own chin therapy).

I can see the effect it has on him. His back right leg/foot are a bit off. He cant rly run in a straight line. He curves towards it. Like a cart with a bad wheel. I had noticed a day or two before that he had not jumped up on anything at all in his new cage. Not a ledge, not to get to his food, nothing. (I moved the food down to where he could get to it.) Now im wondering if its not just from being afraid in a new environment, but because he cant. I had him out on my bed briefly last night. He would run around me and up to me, but he couldn't rly hop up/crawl over my legs or anything. So he rly might not be able to.

It's great giving him a new life out of that old small cage and no toy life. Looks like he's a happy chin now. :)

he is ever so slowly adjusting. He is still panicky but its to be expected. He loves being scratched tho. So if i approach him he might start barking defensively, but as i pet under his jaw bone area he barks slowly fade away kinda like a cat purring lol
