This is my Kylie. She's a 7 and 1/2 year old Akita, and the furriest teddy bear I've ever met :)
 
I love Akitas. They are such beautiful dogs. Unfortunately my best friend in elementary school was randomly viciously attacked by their family dog (an Akita) so I have always had a slight fear of them.
 
Thanks guys. I've heard a few stories about Akitas attacking their owners, actually. They're just very dominant dogs, and you have to establish yourself as the pack leader for them to take you seriously. Kylie is a teddy bear, she doesn't even know what biting is lol
