my hedgie will not sit still long enough for me to cut his nails, when is the best time and way to get him to let me cut his nails?

Bathtime! When they're in the water, they won't curl up (usually!). You may not get all four feet in one sitting, but you can do two feet one day and the other two another day. You just have to be patient!

Heehee... sometimes, you'll only get one nail. And, if so, call it a victory and try again tomorrow.

Thanks everyone, i got one foot done in the bath 
Good job. As another suggestion. Play with your hedgehog's feet on a regular basis. By touching them, and holding them, it will get your hedgehog used to this type of interaction and hopefully make the nail clipping experience easier for you and less stressful on him.
