Hi,

I am currently in the process of building Peter a new palace, and I am all set to go with two large Sterilite containers, however, I have a concern. In the news lately it seems like there have been a lot of reports about the dangers of humans drinking from certain plastic cups because of BPA and all of that nasty stuff. I also have heard that you should not store dog food in those plastic Sterilite containers because of the same concerns...

So, my question is, taking all of those things into consideration, would Peter be at risk if I were to switch him over to a plastic container enclosure (properly built of course with lots of space) with newspaper on the bottom and his personalized carpet as a means of keeping him away from the plastic?

He's not a climber so I don't believe I will have to worry about him climbing on the sides and being "contaminated."

Thanks!

And yes, I have been known to be a "helicopter parent" but I am not ashamed! :)
