Hello,
I've been looking at a cage by foster and smith and im just wondering if any of you guys know if there good quality cages, and they reputable??
Thanks,
Tessa

Fosters and Smith is a reputable company, but that doesn't mean each cage they sell is a great one. Can you post a link to the specific cage?

Jus tlike Nancy said in the other thread the best type would be a plastic bottom with the wire on top.

The best cage IMO is a plastic bottomed, wire topped rabbit cage with a large top opening door as well as the front opening door. Make sure if there is a wire grid on the floor that it is removable as hedgehogs cannot have a wire floor.

Something like that with out the grid for the feet would be ideal. Or like I mentioned you can make something for super cheap and easy by going with the C&C type cage or the Sterilite bin type.

Marchioro makes a wonderful cage. They are sturdy and well designed.

Where in Canada are you? You can pm me a let me know if you want and maybe I can give you an idea of where to get a good cage.

At one point in time Petsmart sold Marchioro and Prevue cages but I'm not sure if they still do. Also research what cages are good and then watch at your local thrift stores and on kijiji for a used cage.
