Default Reputable breeders near Chicago or western New York state

Hello all!
My friend is looking to buy a hedgehog from a reputable breeder. The only nearby breeder he has been able to find is "Hedgehogs by Vickie." There are a few glowing reviews, but a few nasty ones too (apparently her cages are bad and the animals have WHS?)
Does anyone know of some good breeders in the Chicago area? His parents live in Bloomfeild NY, so breeder near there would be good as well.
Any input would be appreciated!

A breeder near Purdue University in Indiana would also be acceptable. There are hedgehogs in the petshops nearby, but he wants to do this the right way!

Have you looked at the breeders listing on the Hedgehog Breeder Alliance? HBA breeders agree to a certain code of ethics, which include registering their hedgehogs and offering WHS warranty.

Thank you! HBA standards sound exactly like what we're looking for . The posted website shows there's breeder in Attica, only 40 min away from Purdue! Yay! Weirdly they have none in the densely-populated Chicago area.

I live in Central Illinois and have babies a couple of times a year. Also there is someone in Norther Chicago area at this time trying to rehome her hedgehog due to changes in life she can not control.
