My girls poked their heads out this morning when I lifed their pigloos and retreated under the blankets. I think this means 6 more weeks...

My girls want to know when is it Chinchilla Day? (Kind of like when we were kids and it was Mother's Day then Father's Day. We always wanted to know when it was Kid's Day. Of course, my Mother's reply was "Everyday is Kid's Day!")



Anyway, Happy Hog Day!
 
The hedgehogs go by the light of the moon. If there is a bright moon, there will be 6 more weeks of winter. If a cloudy night and no moon, we have an early spring.
