dandelions

so i heard chins can have dried dandelions and i have a whole bunch at my place 9not dried still in the ground) and i was wondering how do i treat them.. is that what people are talking about the ones from outside in the yard.
Do you have to cook them.
Do you have to pick them right when they are yellow or wait till they go to the fuzzy when they turn to seeds.
And can kits have them. Also what kind of treats do you give babys mine is just under 3 months old...
Also sorry for the numerous questions.. i got this pack at the pet store with a salt stone wheel and pumice stone... can he have either of those
or should i just throw them away.

Since this chin is still a kit, I would only give hay and pellets until it is at least 6 months old. The gut is still being populated with bacteria so introducing "new things" to the gut can result in loose poo and/or bloat.

Pumice stone he can have no salt though!

So I was giving him his oxbow hay n I seen dried dandelions in it its alfalfa cuz he's a kit
