cages

I am really surprised the differences between the cages you use in the US to the cages we use in the UK.Over here people are leaning towards home built vivariums for the preferred home.Extra ventalation being the most important difference from shop bought vivs.
Other set ups tend to be the zoozone type cages.
I started with the zoozone cage and then decided to change to vivs.
They are roomy and easy to clean and look very nice too.

My question is do any of you use vivs or is this purely a UK thing? If not what are your thoughts on them?

im not sure itf its just a uk thing... i dont have a pet store cage... i built mine out of coroplast and wire storage cubes. since i have 4 hedgies my cages is much bigger and easier to clean than any pet store cage plus i got to design it how i wanted it.
