I just had a 2 year old female hedgie surrendered to my rescue. I have had her about 3-4 weeks. She is on a ggod brand of 2 different kinds of ferret food. I know it is very similar to cat food and she is doing fine...or so it seems. I haven't seen anywhere anyone else feeding ferret food. Is it Ok for her? I need to get more food soon and need to know if I need to start changing her over? I don't think she has ever had mewl worms either.
Thanks for any advice

Generally ferret food is considered to be too high in fat and too high in protein for hedgehogs. Hedgehogs need a protein that is under 35% and a fat that is under 15%. Which ferret foods is she eating?

Are you planning to keep her or looking to adopt her back out?
