I would just enclose the ramp on both sides and in the little bit that's mission on the top. Other than that it look good.

Awesome cages but they need modifications. That is not baby safe and Chloee needs to be in a bin and pregnancy set up for the next month or 6 weeks.

Also, those cage are an escape into each others waiting to happen. They both need to have a full lid. When you have male and female, both cages need to be 100% escape proof.

Also, as Fia has said the ramp needs to be enclosed on both sides, plus the loft level needs to be fully enclosed except for the the width of the ramp. That includes needing a roof and they will just climb up the sides and make it even further to fall.

I didn't remember it was this person that had his hedgies escaped from the cage with the "maybe pregnant" girl. So yeah, that would not be safe at all and the babies could escape and a second level isn't really advisable at the moment.

chloee's second level and ramp will be removed when/before she has her babies. and they arn't even close to each other. and since we have moved and separated the cages neither of them climb. they really never have climbed. that one time was like the first time id ever seen them do it.

That cage is not baby safe even with the loft removed. Mom's must have a bin or else be in a high sided plastic bottomed wire topped cage. Even then, once the babies are large enough to toddle, if they can reach the wires they can escape. The floor space of the C&C is too large even if it was safe. Mom's need a more confined area or the chance of abandonment or loosing a baby is higher.

If he climbed once, he will do it again. The first time was a oops. Now you know better.

You can buy a cheap Sterlight bin and put some kind of mesh on the top so it's baby-safe
